Whoa! Wednesdays

True story - I kid you not.

Today, on my daily rounds, I found a munched up penny lying in the curb. And picked it up.

And when I got home, the amazing art of muralist Eric Grohe was waiting in my mailbox for me to share with you.

My husband sent me the brewery one not long ago. The amount of detail is amazing. I just love his work.

I've never known anyone that roasted an egg before. I assume there is a right way to do so? I would not have a clue (clearly!)

Countess NATUI: What is it that they say about "used" e-mails? Oh, yeah. It was "new to me". What can I say? I'm lazy and half brain-dead right now, and incapable of any original thought. I'll get it in gear soon.

Countess AG: You're asking ME if there's a right way? Har D. Har. Har. I was sure I knew it - right up to the explosion...

I love these things. Um. Roasted egg? I prefer scrambled with some tomato and basil.

Countess MPM: Normally, I'm a sunny side up kind of gal (oh, the irony). Thankfully, this egg was for display, not consumption. Although the display of it splattered all over the inside of my oven could lead me to consumption...

I love murals .. very cool! As a matter of fact, Philly has over 2500 murals (and counting) which is a huge youth program. The pics in your post remind me of that. ....Babs

Countess Babs: I did not know of all the murals - too bad, I would have liked the pictures. Although the men folk did manage a morning of culture at the Rodin exhibit, baseball and hockey will trump "aht" any time.
