Birds Do It, Squirrels Do It. . .

Snatched directly from the USA Today headlines:

"Squirrels scrounge for scarce acorns across USA"

Is that what you kids are calling it these days?

"Scrounging"?

Edgy.

Countess D: Leave it to me to take the innocent frolicking of the animal kingdom and twist it into a pretzel...

Countess MPM: Oops. Forgot that these were a sore point for you.

Countess iPost: I hope you didn't mess up that gorgeous kitchen of yours...Maybe you could take a picture - before and after?

I believe there's evidence the Old Goat and I scrounged for acorns at least 3 times. I wonder what the pair of nuts in the picture have to show for it?

Gah. I can't keep up.

Countess AG: They would certainly never in their lifetime of scrounging be able to find 3 more beautiful acorns.

Just some tree bark and pine needles sticking into their butt...

Dude. The squirrels here in DC devoured the Halloween jack-o-lanterns. DEVOURED. I have never seen anything like it.
